Quick News

Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Tim Couch had a doping regime that included usage of Human Growth Hormone (HGH) and anabolic steroids. Couch, the former 1st overall pick of the Cleveland Browns, was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier this year after going 2-4 for 11 yards.

– Former Philadelphia Eagle and Indianapolis Colt player, Cory Simon, has signed a deal with the Titans, after missing all of the 2006 season with arthroscopic knee surgery and another undisclosed ailment. Simon is represented by Roosevelt Barnes of Maximum Sports Management.

– Pittsburgh Steelers receiver, Hines Ward, had surgery to repair a broken nose that he suffered during the Steelers Sunday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin hasn’t ruled Ward out of Thursday’s final exhibition game against the Carolina Panthers, which means that he should be just fine for the start of the regular season.
